Logan Wehlage, AMAA - President
Logan joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. at the beginning of 2015. He has diverse experience working in a large urban city as well as in rural counties throughout Alberta. He has been an assessor since 2005 and became an Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta in 2010. Logan looks after several municipalities along with providing support to other assessors in their municipalities. In the winter, Logan loves cheering on his favourite hockey team (The Calgary Flames) and in the summer you can find him on the golf course or volunteering to BBQ for numerous events throughout the Lethbridge region. Ryan Vogt, AACI, P.App
Ryan joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. in July 2012 following two years with the BC Assessment Authority in Northern BC and six years in banking, retail leasing and store development sectors in Alberta and Manitoba. Ryan graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2004 with a Bachelor of Management. In 2012, Ryan completed the joint UBC-AIC Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation and is a Professional Member of the Real Estate Institute of BC. Ryan has been a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 2010 and recently earned his AACI, P.App designation and is working towards his A.M.A.A. accreditation. Ryan is responsible for assisting appointed assessors in several municipalities with a focus on commercial and light industrial properties. Ryan can be contacted at ryan@benchmarkassessment.ca.
Christopher Snelgrove, AMAA
Chris graduated from Lakeland College in 2003 and worked in various municipalities throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta including The City of Red Deer, The County of Warner & The M.D. of the Crowsnest Pass. Chris joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. July 1, 2007 and became an Accredited Member of the Alberta Assessors Association (A.M.A.A.) in April of 2010. As well as being the Technology Adviser for Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. he is also responsible for assisting appointed assessors in several municipalities. Lance Wehlage, AMAA
Lance has over 12 years’ experience in municipal assessment, valuing a range of property types including heavy industrial, shopping centres, hotels, and high-rise offices. As an Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta, Lance has dedicated his time to assessment defense appearing before Composite Assessment Review Boards as the municipal respondent. Lance has recently joined the team at Benchmark Assessment Consultants inc. in 2017, and will be providing assistance to municipalities in various capacities. Chris Hall, AACI, P.App
Chris joined Benchmark Assessment Consulting Inc. at the beginning of 2021. He has eight years’ experience as an assistant assessor with Lethbridge County and 18 years’ experience as a real estate appraiser. Deanne Bannerman, AMAA
Deanne graduated from Lakeland College in 2003 and worked for the City of Edmonton for most of her career. She became an Accredited member of the Alberta Assessors Association (A.M.A.A.) in 2007 and has been a member of the Legislative Policy Committee for over 6 years. She has a strong legislative background as well as vast assessment experience including developing valuation models using SPSS, valuing, and defending multi-residential and hotel inventories and she oversaw the assessment function for the City of Edmonton. Deanne joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. in 2021 and will be providing a lead roll with the Town of Canmore. Deanne can be contacted by email at deanne@benchmarkassessment.ca.
Tomasz Hulisz, Assistant Assessor
Tom joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. in August of 2016 following two years with Wheatland County and over fourteen years with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in Ontario. Tom graduated from Laurentian University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1998 he completed the Real Property Administration Diploma from Seneca College along with a certificate in Real Property Assessment from U.B.C. Tom is currently a candidate member of the Alberta Assessors Association and is working towards his accreditation. Tom assists appointed assessors in various municipalities. Kolmé Brown, Assistant Assessor
Kolmé joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. in September, 2020 after graduating from the University of Lethbridge. She has earned a Diploma in Urban Land Economics specializing in Real Property Assessment from UBC's Sauder School of Business. Kolmé aims to become an accredited assessor. Jackie MacDonald CPHR, Office Administrator
Jackie joined Benchmark Assessment Consultants Inc. in May, 2021. With a Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources, Jackie is a CPHR member.
